Philadelphia based hip hop artist AL MAL aka AdotWAKE is back with his newest album titled Struggle Strength. This album has a heavy east coast hardcore hip hop feel to it which is evident in everything from the rhymes & beats, to even in the artwork that feels & looks like a comic book. This album also has many conscious hip hop influences with hard hitting messages that can be heard in tracks like "What do You Believe In?" and "Bold Move".
This album features contributions from DJ Kwestion, Cambatta, Adlib, J.O. The Last Man, Taboo & Coal of Double Negative, NYSOM, DJ Soulbuck, Solstice, with live guitar performed by Tim Eastburn. This new album Struggle Strength also features production from NYSOM and Big City Beats.
AL MAL aka AdotWAKE has the name of this album tattooed down his forearms and feels that this is his most personal album to date where he opens up to the listener like never before. We all have our struggles in life. Each of us has to make the decision to either view those as just Struggles, or to learn from them and make them our Strengths!
